The Resident Spouse Alliance (RSA) is based upon voluntary participation and designed to meet the needs of the spouses during residency. Membership is open to all spouses of residents. We also include the female residents when they have time to come to any of the events!
While the group goals can change from year to year, what seems to remain constant is a support structure providing ways for spouses to connect and serve each other. Over the years, people have initiated philanthropy, teaching opportunities, play groups and a variety of social activities. We also try to keep people informed about policies, responsibilities and activities connected with the program. This is done largely through a list-serve and a monthly newsletter. The organization continues to be strong as we get amazing residents each year married to amazing people! |
